Subject: IELTS Request
I have received my AOR from Buffalo. In order to get through, I need at least 14 points for my English language abilities. I do not have IELTS scores. Since my native language is not English and I have not studied in the USA, I expect to get a request from CIC to submit IELTS scores.

In order to be better prepared, I need your advise on -

* At what stage of application will they ask me to submit IELTS scores?
* Can I take an IELTS test and submit the scores, even before CIC asks me to?

Thanks in advance.

Good to see your proactive thoughts.

You are likely to get a letter about IELTS within two months after getting AOR.

Yes, take the IELTS as soon as you can and send your results. That will save a lot of waiting time.

Good luck.

Appear in IELTS (General) as soon as possible. It is better if you get the results before hand as you will have the option and time to improve your score if you dont get the required scores.
