| Subject: Experience letters |

Hi,
I have experience letters from all my privious employers but some do not include all information that is required by Buffalo office like salary, detail responsibilties, a business card of the person signing etc. Plus I do not have all contract letters from all employers.
Also during past six years there are gaps in my employments about 7 months in total during which I was not working.
Will these things hurt my application ? I am looking to get 21 points for my work experience from Nov. 97 to this date.

Of all my work experience letters, I don´t think a single one included EVERY bit of information CIC requested. And, several businesses are now out of business, one refuses to reply to my requests, and I was self employed for a few years. I also have a couple gaps in employment, including now when I get to stay at home with my son. But, I did my best to get letters from everyone I could, and I´ve written letters explaining the rest. I´m not too worried; mostly the jobs weren´t too exciting, and I have shown effort to get them the information they need. I wouldn´t lose sleep over it (and this is me talking; it doesn´t take much to get me to lose sleep!); just make sure you explain your gaps. Be as thorough as you can be, and make sure they understand your efforts. Good luck!
