Subject: family class sponsorship
Hi Can any one tell me if my father can sponsor me. I am a 37 year old british citizen living in the u.k He is a british born Canadian citizen with a british born canadian wife and non dependant son. he is also retired his wife is still working and they both earn over the required amount for sponsoring one person. We are quite confused over the info on the CIC web site. Or would it be better if I was to apply for a work visa?. Can I apply in canada for a work visa I was thinking of going over and finding work. As I see it I do not qualify for skilled worker visa with no arranged employment. Can someone please shed some light on this as i cannot get to talk to an immigration officer the phone lines at the high commission are all automated and ask you to check the web site for details. Please help I really want to live with my father and work in canada. Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
