Hi
my immigration consulant called me lastweek that he contacted somebody in LA office for my status update, LA told him that I need to send passport for stamping, since I dont have any papers so i dont know what to send, I really dont trust my consultant..all he told me that i need to send passport and three photos with cover letter.
please anybody could me advice on following things?
1. Do I have to send 1-94 with passport? just a passport?
2. where I need to write height, color of eyes?
3. DO I have to put my name,DOB back of each photos?
4. Is photos 33mm(wide)and 45mm width with white background?
this my crucal stage my application I have been waiting for almost 4 years for this momment so i dont want to screw up..
please help this thanks

Hi IWAC,
Just middle of last month (July 11th, 2005)I sent my passport to CIC Buffalo. I am in Canada with Work permit visa. I sent to them only my original passport, three passport size pics (it´s correct what you mentioned about the size and background), I didn´t sign on the pics, but where I have taken my pics they have stamped date and the name of the shop on the back side of the pics. There is a form which you have to fill your name, eye colour and your height. Ask your consultant, most probably they will have this form for you. Along with all these you have to send the copy of your original passport requesting letter from CIC Buffalo. I also sent pre paid self addressed Canada express post envelope, that I can always track my mail. Make sure that your passport will be secure when it will come back to you. I sent along with it a cover letter where I mentioned that I want to get back my passport only to my residential address not to my consultant address.

Send to whom? That is very strange. As far as I remember passport must be sent in a blue envelope which CIC Buffalo should have sent to you and some additional forms also from CIC otherwise your passport might be lost somewhere. I think your consultant is lying.

thanks for reply me,
couples of week a go I told my consultant that he need to enquire my status , I guess he contacted Los angeles one of immigration people there, I heard that usually lawyer have some contact in consulate office, so immigration officer told my lawyer that I need to send my passport to her.
I have her name too. according my consulant all i have to do Put ATT her name and LA address, three photos, passport. that is my story. Like you said since I did not get any papers. Dont know just scare...
what kind of letter paper and letter actually you get along with PPR request.

Hi App04,
I didn´t get back my passport yet. In the original passport requesting letter it has been mentioned that it will take 15 working days. They received my passport on July 15, 2005. May be they will stamp on this week or next.
Does anybody know the exact time?
