| Subject: UK Citizen here, 2 questions to ask |

1. My wife is canadian, she is currently doing her degree here in the UK with plans to do her PHD in toronto, so naturally im going back "home" with her, we will have been happily married over 5years by then and i was wondering will i have an easier time getting in?
2. Are there any people who have immigrated from the UK to canada who can tell me was it worth it?

I think any country would be more worthy than the UK:) The rate of crime in the UK is amazing, the prices are sky-high, buses get exploaded, the ecology is rubish...
But as far as I´ve noticed Canada is no better - no jobs, no gov. bodies to evaluate foreign credentials, Canadian experience needed.. so, honestly... better stay in the UK - at least it looks much more organized than Canada...
In both places you get a lot of potential terrorists, so it doesn´t really matter... Bus exploasions in Canada is just a matter of time...

Canada is very fast descending into a living hell... The recruitment of terrorists is progressing unabated and the government thinks we could possibly turn all the islamic terroists into Faggot and thus render them less dangerous. However, the islamic mullahs are already conducting sermons of violence in all mosques across Canada. If this goes unchallenged, it won´t be long before large scale terror acts become reality. But then you might say, Canada aptly deserves all this because of its upbeat activity about recruiting them.

I will go unchallenged, because white people have no faith and are afraid to confront anyone. They only beleive in money:)) Muslims beleive in their spirit, they don´t care about life or death. Spirit wins over materialism - everyone knows that. So, I am very sorry, but this could be the reality. Multicultural democracy is not gonna help, because arabs don´t assimilate - that´s true and everyone would agree with that. British Pakistanees have blown all the buses:)) What else do you need?
Canada is not a nation it´s a mob that lives together only because of materialistic profits, nothing glues them together. So, when the money ends... the riot starts:))

My husband is Canadian and after watching the decline of UK over the last few years we are moving to Ontario. I have made many trips and the quality of life seems a lot better. Winters are tough but there are plenty of sports. So much more space than overcrowded Britain. Canada is also very resource rich country so the potential economy should be good.
Last trip it was my idea for us to move there and my husband was happy that it was my suggestion. We have young kids and I think they would be better off long term over there. Your wife will have to sponsor you and should start applying sooner rather than later. You would think being a spouse it´s a quick stamp in your passport but it´s a very involved process.

The children may be better off in Canada, ´cause UK is very bad for children... I witnessed that myself.
Well, the resource rich country doesn´t mean anything. First of all Canadian economy seems to be subservient to USA - they just for for the US. And the US as you know have no friends, but money. So, it is quite logical to assume that with the time US will prefer cheaper labour elsewhere.
Secondly, Russia is much reacher in resources than Canada, but this fact doesn´t guarantee in itself the economy growth - I presume everyone has witnessed the collapse of the Soviet Empire?? I think the collapse of the American Empire is yet to come. Sorry to say that...

Americans have come to their senses since the 911 attacks. They are seriously streamlining their immigration policies in order to avoid importing terror. However, in Canada the attitude is that they can fondle the moslems and make them less dangerous. You only need to attend the many mosques in Toronto and the surrounding areas to learn how serious the moslems are in their drive to overpower the rest of the society. With so much drive and continuing immigration of tens of thousands of moslems each month, it is not farfetched to expect a day when moslems will begin their broad attacks on Canada. Americans are just watching from across the broders and occasionally grumbling. They know it will again be their task to mellow down the militant Canada once it is savaged by the moslems.

I completely agree with you. No matter how much you appease moslems they will always dream of killing the unfaithful. Anyway, I think Canada is having some French legacy in this respect. But France is already paying a very hard price...

You both seem to be on same frequency. It is not a political forum but the people are helping each other on immigration issues. Let the big brains in canada take care of the issue which is of of most concern to you. Be positive instead of engaging into never ending discussion which most of the people like myself find very offesive.
