Hi friends,
I have a very specific question to all you immigration pundits and knowledgeble people.
I will be landing in canada next week and will appply for my PR in 1-2 days.
I will like to visit usa ( seattle from vancouver) via road within 2-3 days of my landing in vancouver.
My question is that will there be any problem in crossing canadian border to usa and then returning back.As i wont be having PR uptill then.
I have a valid 10 year multiple entry tourist visa stamped from india in my passport.
Thanks friends

(in reply to: Entering USA and re entreing canada) As long as you have a visa or are allowed to enter the US, then you should be fine. Look to see if you are allowed to enter the US without a visa from the consulate website.
But Also since you have a multiple entry visa, your odds are good everything should go smoothly. Make sure you have a firm plan on what you will say when you cross the border. You should be okay.

Visa (in reply to: Entering USA and re entreing canada) I believe you can re-enter Canada by car without a problem--of course, don´t rely on my statement, search the CIC materials to find a statement that supports this.
Good luck.
