Hi,
What does the E-client show... does it show decision made or still in process....
I know although e-client is at times unreliable but then still just checking what does it show for you all....

I´ve got PPR on july 16, 2005, visa has been stamped inperson on july 25, 2005. E-client status still shows "IN PROCESS".

how did you manage doing it inperson... of what i understand is that they dont entertain it anymore unless and until its an emergency case or situation....

New Delhi doesnt extend in-person stamping! Some CHCs like London and Buffalo have an in-person stamping syatem!
I can understand ur anxiety vishal, but u have to wait as it can take 2-3 months till u or ur wife (whoever is getting sponsored) get the passport back! New Delhi asks for the passport as a beginning of the process and not like other CHCs, who send a PP request when the visa is ready to be issued!
So, relax and wait and dont try and delay ur case by sending inquiries to ND CHC.
