Subject: To sharon and spouse visa applicants
  Hi,

There are few of us who have submitted our passports to delhi chc for stamping spouse visa...

How do they send the passports back through the speedpost, registered post or just by normal mail the same which they did to send the passport request letter...

curious as it might help a few of us

CHC Delhi sends them via Registered post. Depending where you live, it took 4 days to Gujarat in our case.

My wife recived her passport at end of the 5th week(CHC received on June 16th, she got it back on July 23rd)so be cool and dont get too worried as i did :)

Hello Guys,

I have questions for you all and the same question I have posted in other forum too but got no reply.

My question is

I am going to sponsor my wife (from India).

Do I need to provide details about myself in "Details of Family Member" in Application for Permanent Residence Form IMM 0008?

Your input is highly appreciated.

TNIM,

Your wife´s family info needs to be entered in "Details of Family Member" Infact, the whole IMM 0008 needs to be filled up by your wife.

Make sure you send pictures 6 pictures of Each family members listed on the forms.

TNIM, just to let you know, i personally filled out all of the applications myself. For the Family Information on IMM008, i listed my wife´s parents and her sister and that´s all. The place where she has to declare you as husband is on the IMM 5406 (Additional Informaiton)

Be sure to include 6 photographs each of her family memebers. Immigration officers experiances mood swing every hour so be safe. To give you an example, my two friends and I applied for spouse immigration at the same time. I inculed all of the pictures and my friends did not. One of my friends application was rejected becase of the pictures. Becasue of the rejection, he fell behind 21 days. Like i said, if you are lucky you will get by without photos...its totally up to you.

Not sure which country your wife belongs, i advice you to check the Part C: Part C: Information Guides Specific to Geographic Regions for more information.

Good Luck!
