I applied for a same sex application in Jan 2002 in Buffalo (at the time as skilled worker) - was refused because of the points - although I have now graduated with a degree and have a job in Canada but I didnt get the information to them on time. In the mean time my kids and I have been in Winnipeg for 2 years with my partner of 5 years. I are now in Winnipeg after my graduation with an application in for work permit for International students, and a same sex application. My application for work permit has been in since First week of June as well as my PR application. (Vegreville) My kids are visiting Bermuda - will the kids be allowed to re-enter Winnipeg if my new work permit is not back. How long does a work permit usually take.
