Subject: In-Canada only - Any good news?
Hi there, Is there any good news from In-Canada applicants?

Honestly, I have lost interest in whatever I am doing. I finished my thesis with a hope that I would get my PP request in 3 months (after visiting this forum, I realised the truth about the In-Canada applicants). I am searching for job, no hope at all of getting a job.

No news yet on my side, 4 months have passed since my medicals in March 2005.
I guess its a 6 month minimum wait for in canada people.
My medicals are OK and have reached buffalo in April 2005.

So I am waiting and hoping for the best to happen, ie 6 months turnaround time after medicals. So August or September 2005 maybe PPR.

Anyway my timeline
AOR july 2005
IA march 2005
Medical etc March 2005

all the best!

Mountains: wait for 5 months after medicals dude.if you do not hear form them you can fax buffalo from then on.
My guess would be it will take between 5 months -1 year (if you are single) after medicals.
Good luck.

I don´t think it matters, I think it gets processed only than "decision is made" or in other words until background checking is done. Don´t you think?

Sorry about my bad bad typos, I applied June 2004.

To mountains: Ask for CAIPS notes to know about medicals.
I completely agree with BOSS and HELL about timelines after medicals. 6 to 12 months after medicals depending on the background checks.

Ano: Unfortunately, I have a job at campus, but I wish I were like you, scanning thru the whole gammut in the forum, pinpointing little typos. For once be a good little girl/boy and bravely post suggestions, timelines, tips with respect to this topic. You "crtainly" are doing a good job here. Go for some spelling lessons buddy.

I really hope that it takes no longer than 12 month after medicals, because for us it´s only 1.5 month left before it will expire. We´ll see. I´ll keep you posted, :)
