Subject: Bad news for Oct 2004 applicants..
i made a huge mistake...this is my second CAIPS that I have ordered since I submitted my application. First caips i ordered because it was about 4 months since i had applied to buffalo in last week of october 2004 and still had no AOR, so i ordered caips and i got it around the same time i got my AOR also both arrived around 2nd week of Feb...since my AOR had stated they are assessing applications received 36 weeks ago..i thought its already 36 weeks since end of October 2004 so i ordered CAIPS second time to kind of get a headstart..i really thought my caips would contain new info...but absolutely nothing..its so disappointing..nothing has changed on my second caips since my first caips..no points allotted..worst thing i dont understand is in my first caips i had BDEC 1 19-02-2005 ( which means background decision cleared or passed on that date ) now in my seconds CAIPS this has changed to BDEC 19-02-2005 ( the 1 has vanished ) i totally dont understand..other than this change everything is blank or zero..no changes..im totally disappointed and frustrated with the way CIC is taking time..they are not even processing applications stage by stage or step by step over time...thats what I thought so..thats why I applied for CAIPS...so bad news for all oct 2004 applicants..looks like they are not even processing our files...its still lying there...

dude would you get over it!!! most people get IA 9 months after the AOR. why are you so special!?????????????? don´t you think its still within the realm of possibility to get the frickin´ IA at the end of august or even into september?? you think they enter information on YOUR file every frickin´ day for you to have a caips report?? you think its all about YOU??? if you were one of those applicants from "36 weeks ago", you wouldn´t want an oct. 04 applicant to get IA before you. put yourself in the shoes of others, including the CIC officials..they have tons of applicants to deal with. can´t you just be patient??? presumably you have a job already..go to it, live life and frickin´ forget about the frickin´ IA until you get it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said degen. I can understand his feeling of frustration, damn, he has applied in Oct 04 and asking for everything to happen within a night. Well, everything gets assessed in another one and half months, you will get IA and medicals in August end for sure. But the time after that is very important, it may take anytime from 6 months to 12 months for sure.

I´m a Jan 2004 SW applicant applying to Buffalo.
I received my IA in Oct 2004, and am still waiting.

If this fact puts you calm down...

i think that the whole "we´re currently assessing applications recieved 36 months ago" statement is not an indication of anything. it will happen when it happens. nothing can speed it up or slow it down at this point; only in the beginning with the preparation of the documents and you can´t do anything about that at this point, unfortunately. i´m an oct. 04 applicant with AOR in feb. 05 myself and i´m not "expecting" anything. i´m just waiting...
