Subject: June 04 applicants - Buffalo only
I was wondering whether the applicants who submitted in June 04 and waiting for passport request ever received any response from CIC, Buffalo in the past 25 days?

This is a serious issue because I haven´t seen any news at all in the last few weeks. Is it really the summer-vacation syndrome for the employees that is causing the delay? Post your comments.

Yes it is. For people who are in canada its screwed up and nobody knows when one will get passport request after medicals. The standard timelines like 2-3 months etc all holds for guys in USA. But for guys inside canada, from what i have seen it takes anywhere between 6 months to one and half years after medicals.
In my case itself 3 and half months have passed by after medicals and still have not heard from CIC. This is inspite of the fact that my e-client changed to medicals received some 17 days back. Nothing from CIC yet. I was under the impression tha the CIC updated my e-client after i asked them about the status of my medicals. So i came to conclusion that change in e-client means nothing atleast for guys in canada. It might mean something, if you have crossed 6 months after medicals.
iam so frustrated right now.Students who wants to become PR"S in canada are screwed up most of the times...

Are you serious 6 months to one and half years fro In-Canada applicants? Even if our interview was waived?

Yeah dude.even if your interview is waived. My interview is waived too, no RCMP asked, no IELTS asked.Atleast in all the various forums i have browsed , for people in canada ( either as sudent or on work permit) it normally takes 6-9 months (70% of the people) after medicals. Roughly for about 10 % of people it took more than a year ( if they are in family class) and for the remaining 10% it normally took 3-4 months. This is for incanada applicants only.
Dont get fooled by yogi.com timelines. It works very good for people only in US and doesnt hold good for people in canada.
Hope it helps.
Boss.

I´m in Canada applicant, the graduate student and it´s 10.5 months after I have the medicals. Caips notes say the medicine is of code A, but e-client states: "we started to process you application in Nov. 2003".
