Subject: Engineers Engineers Engineers help
  Dear friends
Hi all
I would like to ask about my Master s Degree in mechanical engineering how it could be evaluated to qualify the Canadians one,
Is there any difference between Evaluation Degree and the evaluation work experience as an Engineer For the purpose of work and finding a job ?
Thanks you.

Degree evaluation is done by CCPE for immigration purpose which can also be used for searching jobs. This can be done outside Canada also.

To work as an engineer one needs to get a P.Eng. Each province has its own body which certifies for P.Eng like for example PEO for Ontario, APEGGA for Alberta etc.,
This body actually evaluates your degree as well as your experience as an engineer to certify you as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng). To get this certification one has to be a PR or a Canadian Citizen. Some associations like PEO allows one to start the process outside Canada but will be issued only if you become a PR. Also to get this certification one of the prerequiste is that you should have worked under a P.Eng atleast for a period of one year in Canada.
