It won´t be long again for my husband to get his Visa.

It seems like we are heading for a divorce though.

This is tough.

If you are sponsoring him, I would suggest you wait till her gets the PR card before divorcing...

The separation is killing us. The both of us are so frustrated right now.

I am just assuming when I say it won´t be much longer. We are not hearing anything from CIC. We don´t know what the heck is going on.

It is so hard. We are constantly fighting because of the separation.

You are on the same team. Remind yourselves about who truly is the enemy. You are both frustrated with the situation- not with each other.

When the going gets tough, tough gets you going. Easily said than done but whatelse we have left with other than hope and dreams that best is yet to come? You ask CIC and you may get backfiled. It is so uncertain and frustrating, unfair and inhumane. Look at everyday gone by as a day making you one day closer to the dreams you have pictured in your mind.

Dear SW

I not sure if your husband is the one who is in Trinidad.
Anyway.. How Sharon said... You are both frustrated with the situation- not with each other. Very wise.

The Visa will take a few months to come but a marriage is for life (that?s my hope), so it?s worth it to wait for it.

One day all the sudden.. the Passport request letter will be in the mail.

All the best

hi, SW
try to speak more often with each other, my husband and I are both in Canada, waiting for PR (applied on Oct 2003). I can easily understand your problems, we are fighting very often right now- everybody tired of having a misarable life, like 300$ per month (both graduate students).
The only suggestion I can make- try to think, that it will come eventually (hopefully, soon), that´s not a reason for separation. at least make a limit: hope you´ll both get it in 6 month, may be sooner.
hope, it will be ok

This calls for a support group or atleast for a new topic "How to deal with the wait?". Another our approach is to think of how we´ll look back, shake our heads and pat on our backs for the job well done dealing with all this wait and suspense. In other words, for now, try to live in the future rather than in the present.

Thank you all for the kind words.

This is really a great place to be for support.
