Subject: IELTS
  Dear folks,

I just received letter from buffalo stated the material you provided as proof of your language ability in English does not support the level of proficiency indicated on your application. Consequently, you are given the opportunity to undergo and submit the results of third party language test from a designated organization. Also they added with out the language test result, an assessment of your language proficiency will be made based on the information you have provided. This could result in fewer points being awarded for language ability, which will influence your overall assessment as a skilled worker

State where I am living doesn?t have the test center and I can´t get even single day off from my work to go out and take a test. I have BS and MBA (Two majors) from US University why they need IELTS? What happen if I couldn´t submit the test result?

Here is my detail: - Now I have 73 points in total, I have claimed 16 points from language. What should I do? Please advise me, it will be more then appreciated.

Thank you all

IELTS is given on a Saturday so you will not have to take a day off unless you work on Saturdays.

The only option you have now is to appear in IELTS. It has been mentioned very clearly that the immigration officer is not satisfied by the documents you provided for English proficiency.

If you do not provide the IELTS results to them within the given timeframe (can be extended by a few months) then the immigration official will give you lower points and it may result in the refusal of your application.

So prepare and give IELTS as soon as possible. If you do not get a date in the center that is near you then try other centers. If you are serious about Canadian immigration you will have you do this.

Thank you for prompt reply. This is the problem I work on Saturday too. Secondly I may need to make two appointments for the test as I understood from IELTS web site. One appointment for written and another for interview (oral part). I do not have time to prepare and not even have time to fly out of that state for next 4,5 months. According to letter I have 120 days to submit.

If I write a letter to buffalo about my situation is there any chance for consideration. Is there any one has any experience on this? I will genuinely count and appreciate each response from you folks.

Hi Sathi, all I can add to this is that I also have an MBA from a school in US and I got asked to submit the IELTS.

I took all the sections on a Saturday, with one session in the morning and the interview in the afternoon. They tell you when to show up for the interview, all you have to schedule is to pick a date for the test.

Its too much (in reply to: IELTS)
MAX, what´s the hell these people think about our education and their language? As far I know It´s parity much same as American language. First thing we have to have certain degree of language knowledge or English to get admission for Graduate school in US.

You know what? I am going to give up this bullshit. My wife has Medical degree I have MBA. If they don´t need us then that´s okay, we don´t need them either. We are not going to loose, they will. Let them get more illegal people. I hope my processing fee will help them to dissolve snow in winter.
