Subject: Sending application- any last minute suggestions?
I´m sending my application in by the end of Tuesday, it has taken many months to acquire all needed for this application. Any last minute advice? More importantly, any suggestions on the best way to send it using the United States Postal Service? (registered, secure, what? I have no idea, about to visit the UPSP site now to see options. I am not using FedEx.)

1.please photocopy every single pages of your application package.
2.Please use prority mail, at least need receiver to sign it.

3.Check all the blank, make sure put N\A to those empty spots.(like military service)

4. Check photos, make sure you have name and birthday in the back.

5. Make sure sign and date every pages which need to.

Make sure you signed everything and include IELTS, also make sure whatever spaces in the application that do not apply to you , you write N/A, that can save you a month.

send the application by UPS if you do not like Fedex ( I believe fedex is the most reliable courier), do not use the USPS as is not as reliable as UPS or fedex, make sure you can track your envelope online so you know exactly when it reached buffalo.

Hope this advise help you.

Thanks everyone. Departure bay, I forgot about the birthdays on the photographs, thanks for reminding me. I did remember to write N/A on all blank spots. And, I am making copies of everything just before sending it.

Anything else fellow viewers? Anybody else echo Karajero´s statement that FedEx is best? If so, I´ll use them (got to go there anyway to make copies!)

Hi Greg,

I am sending my application to the Paris office today as well. Going to the bank this morning to make payment and FedEx is coming this afternoon to pick up the package. Yikes! We spend 4 months putting it all together. I hope all is complete.

Nothing to add to what other folks have said above in temrs of last minute check. I also made photocopies of every single page.

one quick question though: the checklist for the Paris office office (appendix A) says:

Application for residency form (imm0008gen): make sure to complete and sign.

BUT there is no space/place asking for a signature anywhere on the form.

Just a mistake in the checklist?

Christine

Yes, Priority mail in USPS is the best.
