Subject: Processing fee reimburse
If someone applies for Canadian Permanent residence and if by chance he/she is not qualified because of lack of points (less than 67) to apply for skilled worker category and the application is sent back, what about the 550 dollars processing fee, is that gone or they give that money back?

the only time you can get your $550 is if they send back the entire application package and say it is incomplete. you have a change at that time to request a return of the fee. One they send your application for initial assessment... you have entered the CIC system and you forfeit your fees.
