| Subject: CAIPS notes for Buffalo Applicant |
Hi,
Just wanted to confirm where to send application to obtain CAIPS notes if one has applied for PR at Buffalo, NY.
Does the application have to go to Ottawa (by a Canadian on your behalf) or to Buffalo, NY?

You don´t have to go to canada to get Caips notes. As if you have any family or any freind in Canada, they could request Caips for your behalf (Person has to send copy of proof of residency).
Download form, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563B.pdf
$5 is fees for Caips notes request.

If you don´t have any family in Canada, you can get caips notes from http://www.caipsnotes.com.
They will charge you $30. It takes 30-40 days to get Caips file.
