Hello forum members,
Does anyone has landed in Coutts, Alberta, recently? I heard that some CIC offices ask people to cross the border, go to US immigration office, get a "refusal of entry" notice and return to Canada to be able to land. Is this the case in Coutts too? If they stamp your passport won´t it cause a problem when you wanna obtain a US/Schengen visa later?

It is a standard procedure for everybody crossing the border from inside Canada. US immigration officers at the border are well aware of this, so there shouldn´t be any problem

Hi
I live in edmonton and planning to go for landing in Coutts, Alberta. I have some questions.
Firslty can i go to Coutts for landing, people usually go to carway?
Secondly, i cant drive and my friend is driving me. He doesnt have USA visa. Is it possiable for me to walk across the border to other side in to USA? I am not sure about it.
