I sent a request for CAIPS with a cheque of five dollars. However, I forgot to send my visa permit and the cover letter. Do I have to resend the form again with the visa permit and the cover letter? Or i should just wait and see if it goes through?

No. If you have provided your address/phone number correctly, they will contact you if anything is missing. Do not send the application again.

you can go the follwoing link which is provided by cic website. It is free if you live in Canada, and it costs five dollars only if you live outside Canada but in this case you should ask someone in Canada to oreder it for you.
