Hi there!
I´d applied for FOSS for my file as I´d applied under spousal sponsorship in Canada and now after one month They send a letter that we´d recvd your letter for requesting FOSS.
What does it mean? when they will send my request for FOSS.

When my wife requested her FOSS file, it took one month for the package to arrive. On our letter, it states:
"This is in reply to your Access to Information request for your FOSS notes received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada on May 10, 2005.
The processing of your request is now complete and I am pleased to enclose the documents requested...."
We received the package on June 13, 2005.

Harry you seem lost. Foss is in Canada information and CAIP´s are overseas Visa Post information which you apply through Ottawa.
Next time do some research by yourself because most informati searching at www.cic.gc.ca
