| Subject: long wait after medical Bufallo |

I have applied for immigration, skilled worker class, in January 2004
I got my IA in January 2004 and my medical in august 2004. I did medical and submitted the proof of found and permanent resident fee in September 2004. Since then I heard nothing from Buffalo. Now here is my question:
I found out that I may apply for CAIPS note under Canadian privacy act. The information and form can be downloaded from this website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5563.html
However it is not clear to me where I should submit the completed form to?
If any one has experience in this regard, please share,

I think its well overdue... wait for the CAIPS.
I am not sure where to apply... but the CAIPS will tell you whats going on... On the side... FAX buffalo for the status... after 52 weeks you are entitled to get an answer from Buffalo.

If you are living in Canada you can order your CAIPS notes for free under the Privacy Act.
1) Go the site
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563B.pdf
fill in the firm with the required details Viz:
a) visa post
b) file number
c) Date of Birth
d) Your postal address
2) Check on the box for the CAIPS notes request in the form.
3)Provide a photocopy of your valid permit/visa in Canada.
4) Write a cover letter requesting the notes.
Post all the papers together to :
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator

I did send a request for the CAIPS notes but i did not include the vis permit and the cover letter. What should i do to recover this issue? Should i send the request again with the visa permit and the cover letter?

I applied to Buffalo in Feb. 2004 and did my medicals in Nov. 2004. I have also heard nothing since then. I did get my CAIPS noted but they tell me nothing, other than everything is still in process. At least there are no major problems jumping out at me. Guess we just have to sit back and wait??
