Consulate General of Canada has a new website for Buffalo!!
Unfortunately the content is same... I wish they spent time and money at providing real information (real time status), and not in all the new look.
My biggest frustration is this big banner at CIC - Buffalo
(http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/can-am/buffalo/visas/default-en.asp)
Persons seeking information about the status of their immigration application must contact the Canadian Visa Office where they submitted their applications. For a list of Visa Offices with their addresses, click here.
Yeah Right!!
Where does one go to find status at application pending at Buffalo??
At least 90% of all apps in the US are lying under pile of dust at Buffalo. EClinet does not work and no one gives a proper status from the consulate so where does one go to get an answer??

(in reply to: Consulate General of Canada has a new website) you´re right I agree, unfortunately government workers give a damn about getting the job done that´s why all that backlog and delays at CIC, everybody wishes they were quicker, just be patient.
Before the mice eat your papers they will contact you
Regards

(in reply to: Consulate General of Canada has a new website) I just checked the site... I guess its much better then the previous ones...
I know these people use a CMS so the content is the same just design has changed... I guess they are doing one thing at a time...

(in reply to: Consulate General of Canada has a new website) I did not know they had that list before. YOu mean that applicants at Buffalo could find out whether they are going to be issued a visa?
