| Subject: Police clearance certificate and Proof of custody |

I live in Germany and I am from India and I already got the police clearance certificate from India last year and I lived in India until 1999 and after that till today I live in Germany. Is the PCC from India still valid?
What does Proof of custody for children mean? How should I prepare this document. For your info, I am including my child (2 years old) in the application while applying for PR.
I appreciate your answers.

Hi,
You need to produce the PCC from the country´s you had stayed since 18 years.
If you are staying germeny from 1999 you need to give the PCC from germenay also from India once.

I think proof of custody you only need if you are divorced. If you are married with the father of the child, so both of you take care of the child and there is no need for proof of custody - but if you are seperated, there should exist a document that shows if you are responsible for the child or it?s father.

you get the PCC from Indian Consulate in Germany...
the PCC issued from the Consulate / High Commission is a valid document

Firstly let me wish you a
very happy and prosperous new year ahead.To introduce
myself i m panna indian student currently in
germany.I was going through certain discussion forum
of immigrating to canada and found your profile.I was
