Subject: was it a wrong Decision?? ( Spousal Sponsorship)
what I think, Applying inside Canada ( Spousal Sponsorship) is not that worthful as one could thought. I´d applied six month back to CPC-V under spousal sponsorship in Canada Class and now after five months they sent my application to Local CIC-M. I don´t know how much time they would take as It is really very very difficult to sit at home without any work and depend on spouse. Though I am here since a year back. We lived together about six months (May 2004 to Nov. 2004) and than we got married and applied in Dec.2004. now total time I spent in Canada is full one year. I noticed that If I´d applied in new Delhi India (out Side canada) it might be the fastest in the world or at least I could run my business in India and could earn a handsome amount which I could not here in Canada coz I did not get AIP ot work authorization yet. What you suggest?? We did not get any communication from CIC other than that ;they transfered our application to Local CIC. Is it kind of racism or what? We are belong to Hindu Comunity but married in Sikh Temple because our beleiveth in Sikhism? Though We approcehed to our Local M.P. ( Via E-mail) but he did not respond.

The CIC is not racist. In fact, Canada´s immigration policy, although brutal, does not go out of its way to discriminate against people due to their culture, or religous beliefs.

The reason some VISA offices around the world are faster, is due to how efficient the office is, and how quickly they can get information from the government of the intended immigrant.

I am sponsoring my wife from Colombia, which has the longest waiting times outside of the middle east. The reason I was told that it takes a long time, is the slowness of the COlombian government in providing information to the embassy, and the fact the embassy is overworked due to the huge amount of false refugee claims.

It is very difficult to wait for responses from the CIC, and I am sure there are ways that they can be faster, but I think it is really unfair to cry racism because they are taking a long time.

Hundreds of thousands of Sikhs and Hindus have immigrated to Canada.... if Canada were truely racist against these people, there would be a lot less Sikhs and Hindus in Canada.

I think the process is relatively equal, and equally brutal, to people from all over the world,

Dave

Yet another Indian wallowing about lost or imaginary money! You do enjoy being with the woman or you hoped to pile more cash in Canada than in India? Why are you so worried about lost income? didn´t she pay you handsome dowry? If not, it maybe time to bring out the stick and demand that she and her family pay up some good cash!

Lol, i can see some racism now :)

Dude "in canada", not every indian is what ur mental database of indians states. Just like not all Americans are Bush or bill clinton.

As for N.K. Embassy has got nothing to do with racism. Sometimes, some rare cases dont go very well. Well ok, say 20% cases dont go very well. I have seen ppl doing 4-5 medicals. Its just that ur unlucky with the time frame.

As for Embassy to respond, i can recall that i read somewhere that they only respond to faxes (?) and the time for a reply is 2 months.

Gl with everything.

People like "in canada" who just have no other work to do except sniffing out for any post where he can vent out his racism..he has done it more than once in this forum...

Going by your logic, "Every one in YOUR country is a bloody Racist" just like you treat every one from a particular country as the same. but the definition of racism is a little different for you - I´m not myself an Indian but I see more successful indian businessmen in Canada or USA than any other nationality... I think you feel it as well and can not control your jealousy, which might have gotten some more fire after knowing that this person is from an IIT, the standards of which no institution in your country can match even closely !

Be happy for just being "In Canada", since people like you are not capable of doing anything else...

to add to my earlier post, Even if you are from a so called advanced nation, dont tell others that you are.. because it will expose what kind of people your country is made of...

Blair...

Don´t blame Canada because of what "In Canada" says. For every joker, there are about 20 good people here.

There are some pretty high standards in some Canadian institutions... and there are many Canadians who would never critcize India on an open form.. just keep that in mind.

Don´t bullshit about the grandeur of IITs, I was in India on more than three occasions and spent time at several IITs. Ask yourself this: your country was spending all that federal money to train your stupid asses in technology and the first thing you scumbuckets do is look to other countries as soon as you reach the last year of your program there! I haven´t seen or talked to even one student on any IITs I visited who had even an iota of respect for their country and somehow exuded great enthusiasm for the chance those schools were giving them in runnin outa country. This is why I loathe Indians and Chinese: you are the filthiest scum your societies could generate. You suck the last buck outa your public supported-schools there and make the run for the airport soon as you get the piece of paper (degree). And regarding standards, I would spare ya on that... Devoid of human dignity and conscience, you quickly become little more than a techno-coolie! I close my case.
