| Subject: How to include my Finace to an in-process applica |

Hi,
Last September I have submitted an application for immigration to Canada in Buffalo, they started processing it on January.
So, my application is already submitted and is in process .
I want to include my fianc? in my application.
First: which forms should I complete in order to add him to my application; do I need to attach a letter stating the situation as well? What process should I undertake?
Second: the wedding is planned for September, and that is not for the reason of immigration to Canada.
I am afraid that in case I wait until September to submit his documentation along with the wedding certificate, it would be too late to include him since probably I would have the result of my application by then.
As you suggested I want his application to be processed the same time as mine, I do not want to go to Canada without him or to go and get stocked there for six month before he can get the residency visa and join me.
So, can I include him as my fianc? now and later, on September, send them the marriage certificate?

I am not too sure about this but if you and him have been living for more then 1 year togather then you may be able to file under common-law relationship.
But I believe that you have to be togather for 1+ year or so.

yes,I am pretty certain it is either 1 year of documented common law or a marriage certificate.

i would just wait until you marry and inform buffalo of the change in your status. buffalo will send her some documents for her to fill it up.

Thanks for the reply.
My question is in case I want to apply for him to be added to my application as my common law partner / Spouse, which form should I use?
Is it available on the web , or I shall Inform Buffalo first , and wait for them to send me some documentation to fill up?
