Subject: During Processing of Spouse Case
  Hi,
i am about about to apply for my wife´s immigration.I heard they have started to interview every single case from sometime now. Can anyone who recently got thier visas/cases finalized throw some light on this please ?

Also i was wondering if my wife gets an interview, can i go to India to take her to interview ? OR Do i have to stay here all the time the application is being processed (i heard this). ?

Thanks.

Interview for each cases is not true. Only if you do not provide them with proper and legit documents, only then they will schedule an interview. Even there is an interview, dont worry too much as they just want to confirm all of it in person.

Goodluck!

Thanks for the answer !
Hmm... can someone still tell me if she gets interview... can i go there or do i have to stay here in Canada while the case is finalized. I mean the case is going to be finalized sometime soon near the interview anyway.

Hmm.. i know i dont need to attend it.

Problem is she is living alone with my mother and has no one to drive / guide them to the embassy in New Delhi. So i was wondering if i can go and escort her there when and iff she gets an interview.

No one can stop you from going to India to drive your wife.

They may not, however, let you attend the interview. It´s up the the Embassy, and typically, they will only let you attend the interview if they request your presence.
