Hi,
Just wanted to know how long it can take(max.) after sending of passport to CHC new delhi to get it back.Its already been now 40 days since i posted my passport to the embassay.Do they do background checks even after Passport request and deposit.? Any guys with similar timelines at CHC new delhi,plz share your experiances.My consultant says it will take another 1 month.I dont know what the embassy does with the passports keeping them with it for 60 days or more.They should do all the checks and then finally ask for passports,so that the passports can be returned quickly.

I think that New Delhi CIC asks for the passports at the beginning of the process, before the background checks are done. Your consultant wouldn´t know for sure so I wouldn´t bank on what he´s saying.

Hi,
i have the same experience of deli boy
I got all three together but my consultant told for passport they will ask again after finishing all process then only i need to submit passport.
So waiting for the PP request again from HC delhi.

hi all,
i have submittd my passport(& all req. doc ) on april 25th 2005.its almost comes to 60 days at CHC Delhi unser skilled worker... any body know how long it will take...
please let me know if anybody have same exp....

hi deliboy,
good morning!!!
its not showing only "in porcess"...i think it will not show any kind of status of medical and all detail..
there are only two status ...1)in process and ii) Decison made..yet not got any thing from CHC...today i will do fax to chc..lets see ..have a nice day...keep mailing...

i am a canadian citizen i am living in delhi from the past 20 years ...now i am planning to go back to canada with my family
i applyed for my canadian passport even after 40 days i did´t get my passport what is the max time to get canadian passport ?do i get any problem getting my canadian passport

my medical is done on dec 2011 and passport and all formality are send,
but action are taken by embassy
