hello.i´m working as a construction helper here in alberta canada.i arrived last june 9, 2008 holding a 2 yr working visa and work permit.my company is going to shut down for 2 months (feb and march).a lot of filipinos will be laid off.i would just like to know if i can look for another employer during these months.also, if i decide to resign from my present employer, will i be forced to go home in the philippines?Or will i have an option to stay here in canada and look for another employer and get another work permit and lmo.tnx
