Hello all...odd question for those who are sponsoring a spouse, more specifically those sponsoring from outside of Canada...
I sent off alllll our paperwork via USPS Express Mail on May 24th. Got to Mississauga the next day then seemed to disappear. The tracking stopped there, so I asked Canada Post where it ended up. It would seem the package was given to Purolator Courier to complete the delivery. When I checked the tracking on *their* website, they had changed the delivery address from the P.O. box that CIC tells you to send it to, to 2 Robert Speck Parkway, in Mississauga. Apparently it was recieved in "reception, Case Processing Centre". Now, the P.O. Box address and 2 Robert Speck Parkway are very close to one another in Mississauga, and there is an entry in the tracking history that Purolator *requested* an "address correction" (as in they couldnt deliver to a P.O. box) but I´m still a little freaked that it didnt get to the address that I was *told* to mail the dang forms to.
Anyone else had this happen at all? I´m probably freaking out for nothing...

on the application form and kit, the address listed is their postal box office. but if you are to use a courier service, they do not accept p.o. box address so you have to use a street address. the address you have which is 2 robert speck parkway is correct.

hi i sponser my husband from lebanon and iemial his document to alberta becuase when i ask for the forum you guys sent me the application within canada but when i saw on the web site to sponser someone from out of canada you have to submitte it to missisagua and they recieved my applicatione on nov 26 but they transfered to missagua and they recieve it on january 16 so im so confussed beacuase i dont know what should i do and if there is something missing with my application should i send it becuase i didnt recive any letter or any phone call so can you please tell me some answer beacuse when i call local centre they are telling me different thing and i got the wrong application i dont want to wiat for long time and after 3 month you guys tell me i have to do everything again please tell me what i should do thnks bye

I´m a little confused, but i am wondering about a question that is i have applied to sponsor my husband and i live in lebanon with him. We first sent the application to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga and the Canadian Embassay in Syria received it on the 13 of June of 2011. They did send me an email from the embassy in syria notifying me that they have received my husband´s application. Now it´s almost been a year and haven´t heard from anyone. We know that all applications have been transfered from syria to lebanon but i think it took too long and i´m wondering if anyone can help!

it has been the same to me. my husband lives in India and mississauga sent the case to Pakistan. and i am keep writing letters to mississauga office to sent it to India it has been a month that we are waiting its husband and wife case it shouldn´t be that long. i am lost if anyone knows a way please help me. taiba
