Subject: Fast Track System -Arranged Employment

I heard from a few friends ,that with arranged employment opinion letter from HRDC ,the application process gets fast tracked to 6 to 8 months..

How hard is to get an Arranged Employment Opinion approval if you have a job offer froma Canadian employer

Hey there. I don´t think arranged employment speeds up the process. I wish it did. I have arranged employment and applied for Skilled Worker to Buffalo in Nov 2004 and got my AOR in March 2005 !!!

However getting the arranged employment from the HRSDC is no big deal. The hard part is finding an employer willing to fill out the paperwork and to hire you. I suggest doing the paper work yourself and just getting your employer to sign everything. It takes about 6 weeks I think for your application to be processed by the HRSDC. Any other questions, feel free to ask. Here is a website for more info.

Good luck.

Guess its case by case as I do know few people who got their immigration with arranged employment in 4 months but they applied in singapore, maybe in Buffalo the process is slower.

Any idea

Quite possibly. Or I might just have a case of the good old ´bad luck´ which seems to follow me everywhere. It could be my nationality too (Indian)? Who knows anymore. I´ll keep you posted with my timeline though. Good luck.

Seriously you should not do that...

Get the HRDC approval done. If your case is approved ask for a work permit visa - this is similar to the H1B visa in the US. but it is much easier in Canada then in US. Anyways... once you have the HRDC approval you get the work visa and you come to Canada on the work visa... start working and while you are in Canada apply for immigration.

This is the best way to get here if you can... otherwise if you dont have the hrdc confirmed offer go with the regular immigration proceedure... but otherwise that the other way around this situation and get your immigration faster...

with a HRDC approved job and you already working in Canada you will get the additionsl 10 points easily as well as by the time your file is cleared you will have gained enough Canadian experiece so you wont have a problem in transition to "the Canadian way of living"

CIC Islamabad website clearly mentions

Processing time
For skilled worker application : 36-42 months
For skilled worker application with arranged emplyment : 12 Months

But i am sure it varies from country to country

Just received this message from Go-to-Canada consultants.

Dear Candice,

If you really have a certified by HRDC employment offer, then your immigration application will be processed much faster. However, if you have just an offer of employemnt that is not certified by HRDC, then your immigration application will be processed within the usual terms of the Canadian embassy in Buffalo.

The Processing Time For Arranged Employment (in reply to: Fast Track System -Arranged Employment)
I have submitted my file to Canadian Embassy at New Delhi as Skilled Worker & having the Arranged Employment approved by HRDC. How much will it take to process my file to get visa. I have read from the canadian embassy site that they have fastened the track from 27 Feb 2008. So , I want to know that how much time will it take to get visa.
Thanks.
