Subject: Son's Age
My son is 21 yrs old when we submitted our application last April 7,2005 in CIC manila and we all konw that the processing of application took 3-4 yrs. Can he be with us even though he will be 24 yrs old by that time because we want to be all together in Canada .What are the things we should do.
Thanks and any advise and info will be appreciated

His age is " locked in " at time of application.
Don´t worry.

NO, that is NOT true. age is not "locked in" at the time of application.

when I applied to sponsor my family back in 2002 my brother was eligible, but at the time of the interview October 2004 he was 23 and not a full time student, so they declined him.

so checca to guarantee that he will be with you in Canada he has to be full time student until the time of the interview (or if it is waived) when they stamp his VISA.
