Is it true that you can ONLY get a Canadian student or visitor visa at your home country ??
I am currently in the USA on H1B visa and would like to visit Canada in December, Can I stamp my Jordanian passport from an embassy in the USA?
My friend told me that his mom was denied visa and was told to go to home country !!!
Please advice. Helpful links are always welcome !!!
Thanks!!!

(in reply to: getting a student or visitor stamp in USA) Well all it takes is to enquire with the nearest CIC post. Although I am 100% sure that one can apply atleast for visitor visa irrespective of being out of home country.

Applicants for Temporary Resident Visas,

As of April 1, 2005, you must apply in your country of residence, your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted.
