HI what is CAIPS?Please explain me.I had my medicals on march 21st 2005 and Embassy received on 22 may from Doctor(Doctor has showed me the embassy stamp that they received my reports).Till now i did not get any reply from embassy.So i would like to know about CAIPS.What it means?How to use that?what is the process?.Please let me know.I am in Trinidad and Tobago ,Caribbean Island.Before i take medicals i have submitted to embassy showing funds in bank,my workpermit,visas in trinidad,And all the things what ever embassy asked me.And finally i got letter to go for medicals.and i had on 21 may.Thats story .Please need advise.shall i wait 1 more month before contacting embassy?

(in reply to: CAIPS ?what is that?please explain me.Trinidad) CAIPS is an acronym for Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System. It is part of the Electronic Data Processing (EDP) system used by the Canadian Immigration offices to process visa applications.
CAIPS can basically give you the details on what has happened to your application. Only Canadians can get this so you can either ask a canadian relative to request it for you for $5 or you can order it online for $30.
