Hi, I´m on an H-4 visa in the United States and have been working on payroll for some time, although I am not allowed to. My husband, who is an H-1 is applying for PR in Canada as principal applicant. My question is - should I put my work experience on my application (I don´t want to lie) and if I do, can I get disqualified? Thanks!!!!

(in reply to: H-4 dilemna) I am sure that CIC wont inform INS however CIC doesnt like to hear anything illegal.
If your husband is on H1, he will most likely qualify for PR on his own and you are his dependant.
So dont declare the work exp. including the income.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck.

(in reply to: H-4 dilemna) yes Diana dont mention your work experince in the US as you are on a H4 visa.
If your husband makes more then 1 yr of work experience and he is the pronciple applicant then your work experince will not matter anyways so I guess you dont need to put anything there...
