| Subject: Long delays at CHC New delhi |

Hello friends,
I had my interview on 15th april 2005 and have deposited medical reports,passport and the ROLF on 8th may 2005.Anybody has an idea how much time will it take to get the visa and the passport back.
Also the CHC people dont give any acknoledgment for the passport and ROLF as it was sent by registered mail.So one wonders if it has not got misplaced and whether it has reached the CHC and in right hands.!!
Any friends who are in similar status at CHC new delhi.

It still shows interview scheduled on 15th april 2005,and the irony is they have changed it even after i cleared the interview.It still shows "in process"
Wonder why they say that online status is updated weekly..I dont think so.....

Following are the timelines for my process.
>>>Applied for canadian immigration in DEC 1999
>>>Got file number in Jan 2000
>>>Interview held on 15th April 2005
>>>Got request for medical reports ,passport and ROLF on
25th April 2005
>>>Dispatched medicals,passport and rolf on 5th May 2005
No response since then form CHC.I sent my passport by registered mail as CHC doesnt accept passports by hand.And they dont even send the acknoledgement that they have received the passport.So untill one gets the passport back it remains a nightmare..
Any people in similar boats...

I am also in somewhat similar situation.Have you applied from a consultant or on your own.People plz share your experiances or any valuable suggestions.

Hi Deliboy,
Thanks for the timeline. I appreciate your patience. In fact, I applied on Feb 2002 through a consultant and got the file number on May 2002. Feel like a long way to go. Unfortunately I am not able to see my e-client status also. When enquired to my consultant he told me not to depend on e-client. Send a fax to CHC, but no response. God knows whats up.
