Subject: Finally got Passport Request: Skilled Worker Class
  Guys,
Today that magic yellow envelop finally dropped into my mailbox. My e-client changed to "Medicals Received" on June 23, 05 and today after 5 days, I got this PPR.

Here is my time line (Buffalo)
AOR: JAN 04
IA: SEP 04
MED/ROLF: OCT 04
PCC: DEC 04
PROOF/FUNDS: JAN 05
MED REC/ECAS:MAY 23, 05
PPR: MAY 28, 05

I am very thankful to all the members on this forum who supported me during this whole process. That entire wait was worth it. Key to success- Have faith in what you and stick to it with a determination.

Now I have to start pushing my company to transfer me to their Toronto office. I know with the kind of skills that I have acquired in the US, I can easily find another job in Canada, but I don´t want to leave my current employer.

I have few questions if someone can help me with them.
1. Can I send my passport through FedEx and get it back through USPS Express?
2. How many days do they give on visa to enter Canada? I.e. my medicals expire on Oct 11, 2005, so will that be the validity of visa or they will give only few counted days to enter.

This is a best forum. Thanks

Akiindian.

Ok, that was an error (June 23) and I beleive simple to understand. E-client changed to "Medicals received" on May 23 instead of June 23. But dear anonymous I mentioned the correct date in timeline.

Do you think this error was big enough and you coudn´t resist yourself feelings to make a mokery of it?

You can send your passport thru FEDEX and attach a return evelope from USPS expresspost and it will be okey no probs there. It says that in the letter you received from Buffalo office.

Your medicals are valid for one year so if you did your medicals on 11 Oct 2004 then the visa will be issued till 11 Oct 2005. exactly 1 year since the day you took your medicals so adjust that accordingly...

Buffalo office takes 15 business days process and then they s send the passport so expect it accordingly.

Good luck.

No PP request yet (in reply to: Finally got Passport Request: Skilled Worker Class)
IA: October 21, 2004
Medical: Dec 2004
PCC submitted: Feb 2005

My e-client still shows "in process". How long for it take to change to "Medical Received" and Passport request.

Thanks.
