Subject: Temporary Visitor Visa |
After submitting immigration application, is it still possible to get a temporary visitor visa to Canada for vacation? I am sure the visa officer will notice the record of my immigration intention in his/her computer. Anyboday has such experiences? By the way, I am in the US.

(in reply to: Temporary Visitor Visa) Should not be a problem at all.
I got mine to travel this summer myself. I´m an independent class applicant and Indian student in the US and was rather apprehensive that I´d be granted as I have no strong ties accept the fact that I´m a student here in the US. Many told me not to apply as it was sure to get rejected.
But to my surprise the visa was granted, stamped and sent in a week?s time. :)
I made sure I provided all documents asked and explained clearly where my application for PR was in a cover note.
I wish I could say the same for my PR application :(
