| Subject: Inquiry through MP |
Hi,
i asked my Member of Parliament to get status of my file from ottawa, her office is working on that. How long do they take, does someone has that experience.

Could be a few days or it could take up to two weeks.

usually it is around 7 business days. but it could take 10. I was lucky few times when the lady who works for my MP was in a good mood, she´ll call the office directly and get answers while I´m sitting with her :)

Thanks guys, i just asked the MP´s office last thursday so I will wait for a week..
my status changed to Medicals Received last week..Buffalo office, waiting for passport , hopefully soon..

i contacted my MP about 3 weeks ago and haven´t heard anything from them. Should I vote for them next time? hhmmnn.....

hard to know who is stalling who... MP or CIC. My guess is that parliamentry staff are scrambling around trying to stop an election and you have become a backburner issue.
