I had applied for canadian immigration to Buffalo in the skilled workers class in Nov 2004 and got my AOR in march 2005. Now I have 2 queations:
1. I have seen on Yogi799.com that people seem to recieve their AOR in about 1 month and IA in about 7-8 after that i.e. in about 8-9 months from the time they applied. In my case, it has been about 6 months since Buffalo recieved my application but the gap between sending the application and AOR is more than 3 months, should I expect IA/Medical notice in the next 2-3 months ? Or will it take 7-8 months after AOR?
2. We are planning to start a family soon but concerned that pregnancy will delay medicals and hence the whole process(due to x-ray). Is it possible to get medicals incuding x-ray done in advance- before concieving and before receiving any medical exam papers from Buffalo ?

As per my knowledge goes, you need to have chest X-ray, which medical officer will not do it on you if you are found Pregnant. So you need to check whether it is possible to get the test done before Medical form from CIC and if so for how long the test will be valid??
Do make a survery and post it in the form as this can help others

Thanks for replying. That´s what I am trying to check-if I can get medicals done before getting the notice/form from CIC.

hai,
i received my medical papers few days back. but iam pregnant by 4 months. i am the principal applicant also. do i have to do all other medical tests other thann x-ray now? or do i have to wait till the baby is born for the complete thing? what about my husband? they had given us a 90 days deadline.
