Subject: Proof of Relationship - Change of sister last name
My sister in Canada is a permenant resident. However, she changed her last name which is reflected on her Canadian PR card and other Canadian documents.

Can you kindly suggest how can I proof that she is my sister? As of now, I am planning to send only a copy her PR card with my application (federal skilled worker class).

through your birth certificate :) if you are blood related sister, obviously the names of the parents will be the same on it.

She should have a ´change of name´ document. Photo ID with her old name and a photo ID of her new name. Birth Certificate. Get photo copies of all this and send it and you will be fine.

Oh and send a copy of your birth certificate with the same name as your sister, before her name change. Use your head and think about what documents you have and what your sister has and go PHOTO COPY everything that will prove you are related. SIMPLE ;) Good Luck!
