Subject: Need tips for application preparation
  Hi
This is my first message to the forum but I am sure it would not be the last one as I find this forum very active and usefull.

Question:
I am preparing my application to file. I need some resources/tips/pointers for making my application better. Some samples, if possible, would be great. Please note that I am very new to this whole thing. I do know stardard stuff that is required.

Thank you.

Visit CIC website and read the manual for skilled worker immigration. Then ask particular questions. You request is wide and open.

Proceed step by step and whenever you have problem just send your question here and we will answer you in aday or so.

Good luck

You did not tell us where you are going to submit your application but still here are a few pointers:

1) Be truthful and precice when you fill in the forms. The information you provide will be veryfied during the background and security check so any mistakes or ommisions can cause delays.
2) Start off by arranging for the police clearance from all the countries you have lived in for more than 6 months after you turned 18 as they can take some time.
3) Proof of employment is one of the most important aspect of the application. Provide appointment letters, employment contract, reference letters, pay stubs, tax returns and anything you can think of that can prove your employment.
The reference letter should mention your responsibilities in detail. Also attach the business card of the person giving you the reference letter.

Hi everyone, I agree with Saleh and Kenny. i like to add something more:
Send only the notariseed copies of all your certificates et. EXCEPT police clearance report which is to be sent in original. Its not at all difficuilt to fill in the forms and apply. Keep in touch We all learn something from each other.
Is Sharon watching this? Yhanks

Hi Seleh, Kenny and Pasha

I thank you very much for the replies.

I had visited the CIC website before submitting question. But you are right I should have asked more precise question. Actually I was looking for the tips like Kenny mentioned in his 3rd point. To know what is important regarding the application preparation. Pasha, I am currently in the Middle East and will apply through London.

Thanks once again
