i hpe that im getting the medical request in this month after i finish the medical.. is there anything else..
or only the visa.. and plz wut is pp request..
and can they let me down after i finish my medical and pass in it..
i heard something about diccison..
so plz any body can help me ..

Nothing much to worry about. If you are expecting medical papers in this month, that is very good. Go for the medical tests and the doctor will send his report to CHC. It will then take about two months for you CHC to receive your final medical results. Once they do that and if you pass the medical test (i.e. you are medically ok) then CHC will send you pp request (your second question: PP request means the CHC will request you to send you Passport to them). They take around two weeks to stamp you passport (with visa) and send them back to you. After that you are free to travel to Canada as a permanent resident when ever you wish (within 12 months from the date of your medical). I hope this sufices.

Yes khan, and I would like to add that sometimes two months are not enough for them in CHC London to send you a PP request, so please Issa, don´t get so much worried when they are late again after medicals, I submitted mine, I mean the medicals, on Jan/2005, and up till the moment... still waiting...
Let us see who will get PP request first,me or you LOL...

AS for the CAIPS :
"CAIPS is an acronym for Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System. It is part of the Electronic Data Processing (EDP) system used by the Canadian Immigration offices to process visa applications"
