I am an Australian citizen. My girlfriend is a Canadian Citizen. We have been living together for a year.
She is acting as my sponsor.
I have completed the medicals last week and just got my fingerprints done yesterday for the RCMP. I will be returning to Australia in a couple of weeks to start work as a lawyer.
Should I apply for PR here in Canada or apply with the Sydney Canadian Consulate? Does anyone know what difference it will make to do it either way?

It`s safer to apply from abroad , if your application doesn`t go through for any reason , you might be able to appeal and you won`t face a risk of a possible removal from Canada.
