| Subject: Can I contact Buffalo after the 52 week processing |

Hi,
I am just wondering whether I could contact Buffalo immigration office after the 52 week processing time they mentioned in the AOR, if I don´t receive my IA from them?
Its more than a year now and still I am waiting for my IA. Will they respond if I send a fax to them after the processing time of 52 weeks? Has anybody experienced the same? Please let me know.

52 weeks for IA is definately a reason to contact them. Infact I suggest you should, just to ensure there is nothing you missed out due to wrong address or misplaced mail.
Let them know clearly that you have not heard after the AOR stage. Just in case they sent you medicals and they think that you have not taken.

Thanks for your reply. I applied for immigration on April´ 5th and the AOR is dated May´19. So can I contact them right away, or wait for one more month? Because I am not sure about the start of the processing time. I think, it starts from the date of AOR and not the date of application.
Please advise.

It is from the application processing start day. So you still have a month. I suggest waiting for additional month and then fax them.
However IA usually should have come in 8-9 months. Try to order your CAIPS notes as well.

well i married to a canadian citizen in march 2008 and she submit my application in may 2008, and they respond after one month that my application they are forwarding to buffalo for processing now is there any idea how long the processing time take? please help me if some body can
