Does not matter.

She will have to undergo the Medicals. That is the rule. The thought process is: not now but your daughter is a potential future immigrant and she must pass her medicals.

If you can not get your daughter to get her medical done then you will have to write and explain the situation to the Consulate handling your case. If she does not get her medical done now you will never be able to sponsor her to Canada.

why would his daughter require a medical? she is not immigrating with him. he has only listed her as his family. medicals are done at time of sponsorship.

what am I missing??

I am thinking CIC thinks the daughter is accompanying him because he supplied her photo along with her information.

Hi Mike,

If you have any plans to sponsor your daughter for Canadian PR in future she will HAVE to get her medicals done now.

If you dont want to sponsor her then you should inform CIC that she is a non-accompanying family member and that you do not want to sponsor her in future as well.
