me and my ten years old son landed in canada in 1991 as PR. we been there for about six months .we had to go back to our home country as my dad was sick and nobody was there to look after him.since that day we never go back to canada.my dad died last month.now we want to move back to canada.
is there any chance we can go back n live there??

They might not let you back in, but maybe if you can provide proof that you had to take care of your dad they might bend.

in all probablity u have already lost status. Maybe u might put in a petition and they might listen to u.
Better talk to the immigration office directly.

Looks like Canada became the place to turn to when people become desparate! Talk to the CIC folks and also begin applying again. Did you think of Australia? they have increased immigration by more than 20,000 this year! Try your luck there too. Recently, China began drafting Immigration Laws to grant PR to foreigners. Look there too. In 20 years, you stand to reap great benefits from China too.
