My extention for study permit was refused and I was required to leave emediately. I was told that I din´t satisfied the officer that I will return home and the educational institution didn"t meet the criteria of a study permit.I got my first study permission through the embassy. Do I have any chance in a diffrent result in an appeal case ?
Or is there any chance my friend could sponsor me within Canada that I could stay here and finish my distance education? We know each other about a year, but live together only 7 months,so we do not match the Common-law Partners qualification.

my visa expired (in reply to: No appeal mechanism for refused study permit) it is a diploma course at an private trade school, but a distance studium, and I am enrolled in distance english too ,there"s no other opportunity to study fulltime in this small community .The next city is 4 hours drive .
I posted my extention application in january, because my visa was valid until the end of february.
They needed additional documents in february , and sent me an information ,that I can stay 90 days until the decision after my expiration,
then I got an information in march that my aplication was sent to another processing place, and finaly in april the refusal .
I have a policy for international student for another half of a year and I have a flyticket back to my home country.
I wonder if they don"t let me study if I could apply for visitor visa .

(in reply to: No appeal mechanism for refused study permit) Since you´re supposed to stay 90 days after the expirationyou still have till may for you to re-apply.I don´t know where exactly you live here in Canada, but I can understand thatit´s in a small community, where there´s no university, or any cegep, is that right?
Caus´ I would suggest you to re-apply as a student in an university, or a cegep, you have more chance to get a new student permit like that, caus´ I´m pretty sure that now that they have refused you the student permit, they won´t give you a visitor permit, unless you have in your bank account, something like 3000 and more CAN $, but still I´m really not sure about that.
It would be preferable to apply to a university or a cegep in the nearest city, well if it´s possible for you I don´t know,I live myself in montreal so of course, we don´t have a problem to find an university or a cegep here but I can see that you´re running out of time so hurry up, admission limit dates for some universities are April 30rd, maybe you´ll have a chance to get an admission letter before the end of May, caus´ actually that´s the only thing you have to do, you have more chance with an admission to stay here in Canada. Or else, of course you´ll be deported out of here.
So if you want,I would urge you to follow my advise , and keep me posted, so I could help you more if possible...

(in reply to: No appeal mechanism for refused study permit) One other thing about the visitor status, you have to have a serious reason for you to stay in Canada as a visitor, for instance me myself applied for that status, but I was then waiting for my PR status, so the immigration agent had a good reason for me to stay and that´s why he gave me the visitor permit.
Plus about the sponsor thing, I don´t think that It works like that, but I would suggest you to contact a CIC office to get more infos, you could talk to an agent to see with him or her what are your options for you to stay here, they´re really helpful, but be explicit in your explanations, or else, thay won´t be able to help you.
Here´s a number that could work I hope, even for your region.1-888-242-2100
So good luck...

I am leaving now (in reply to: No appeal mechanism for refused study permit) I decided to leave now,
I spent already too much money, the studying expenses are to high for a foreigner
and there"s no garantie to stay here for a job later
to get at least something back
