Guys
I would like to inform that I received my passports with the Visa stamped today.The docs which I need to carry to the border were also sent in the packet. Thanks to one and all for answering my questions and I wish everyone good luck in process for getting the PR for Canada.
Below is my total time line.
Processing my application July 23, 2003.
AOR came in Sept 2003
CAIPS notes came in June 2004
Interview scheduled for November 03, 2004.
Medicals Submitted by Nov 17th 2004.
Police clearance and FBI clearance submitted on Jan15th 2005
PP request came in March and submitted by 15th March 2005
Decision made on April 6th 2005
Got the passports by 14th April 2005 with stamping and the required docs.
Visa validity for 6 months.
Hope the above info would be helpful for people looking for the processing time done at the LA Canadian Consulate.

I want to know did you submit you landing fee with the documents or seperate. I got a letter on march 10th to submit the landing fee. They recieved the landing fee on march 11th. I am still waiting for my pp request. Do you have any idea how long it takes after submitting the landing fee to get pp request.

Thye asked my landing fee along with my FBI clearence after i had my interveiw in Nov 04.After i submitted my landing fee as my FBI clearence was taking time they did update saying that i paid my landing fee and when i submitted my Clearence they told me that they are about to finalise my application so send ur PP immediately.I got that request in the second week of Feb and i submitted on the first week of March.Hope this will help u.

Can you write the message whatever is written on the PP request letter as it is ? I would like to check the authenticity of my consultant. Is this PP request letter has original signature of visa officer or immigration officer ? or this letter came to you without signature ( computer generated paper)? Is the file no. or name is mentioned on the PP request? Please help me

I have got this letter from the LA consulate losangles on the consulate.It states that ur application is ready to be finalised and pls send the original passports along with 2 passports each and i was asked to send it in 2 months time.
The signature was photocopied one.may it is their std format letter.
