Hi everyone!
on the work experience part of the skilled worker visa it says that you need ´original and up to date references from your past employers´. The problem that my boyfriend and I have is we either don´t keep in touch with them/ the employers themselves have moved on or the company no loger exists!
Please can anyone help us as we don´t know what to put on the application and are desperate to submit it.

just write a statement explain what happens, or show other evidence of your employment, even something like business card

If you actually saved a paystub or a W-2 from tax returns, it would be just fine. When I went to the interview, I did not have a letter from one of my past employers but I had a paystub and they were O.K. with that. Did not ask for anything else.
